WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 8, 2010)-
The Rollins softball team completed a clean sweep of the coveted
Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week Awards. Collecting the
offensive honors was junior Christine Roser. On the week
Roser batted an impressive .550 with nine runs and 13 RBI as the
Tars went 5-1 in the West Georgia Invitational. Roser led the Tars
to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked regional opponents. She
tallied four multi-hit games and reached safely in five of the six
games. Roser also collected a run and drove in at least one run in
five games. Her most impressive performance was against North
Alabama in which she went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and
five RBI in the 13-4 shellacking.

Frame tossed five complete games and one shutout on her way to
an undefeated week against regional opponents. Appearing in 31
innings, she allowed six earned runs on 20 hits and 13 walks. Frame
also struck out 51 batters to help her cause. Frame's shutout came
in a 14-0 win over West Georgia. In that contest, she allowed just
one hit and one walk with six strikeouts. Frame came up huge
against No. 2 Alabama-Huntsville, holding the Chargers to one
earned run on two hits and five walks and sat down 11 batters. She
also posted a 1.31 ERA for the week.
