WINTER PARK, Fla. (December 11, 2010) - Every
Tar who played scored as the 19th-ranked Rollins women's
basketball team thumped Warner University 103-50 on Saturday.
Rollins stays perfect at 9-0 on the year while the Royals drop
to 2-7. In their current five-game home stand, the Tars have won by
an average of 40.2 points. Saturday was also the first time Rollins
has reached the century mark since a 101-45 win over Puerto
Rico-Rio Piedras in Nov. 26, 2005.

Heistan was 3-of-3 from beyond the arc and netted 15 points to
lead four players in double-figures. Jasmine
Bradley added 13 points while Kristina
Mingos and Kourtnie
Berry each chipped in 12.
Ivan Soberal led Warner with nine points while Stephanie Wills
chipped in eight.
The Tars enjoyed their best shooting night of the season,
hitting 62 percent in the second half and 59 percent (43-of-72) for
the game. They also won the rebounding battle 38-31 and held WU to
just 36 percent (18-of-50) from the field.
The Royals scored the game's first four points with a Bradley
jumper getting Rollins on the board after almost three minutes of
play. A Bradley free throw and back-to-back triples from Mingos and
Tera
McDaniel sparked a 16-3 Tars run and put the home team up
16-7.
Wills hit a pair of 3-pointers to cut the Tars advantage to
three at the midpoint of the half, but Rollins blew the game open
with a 22-0 run over the next five minutes that gave the Tars a
38-13 lead that blossomed into an eventual 53-20 advantage at
intermission.
The gap extended to 46, 72-26 over the first five minutes of the
second half and reached 51, 92-41 with five minutes to play as
Rollins put it in cruise control down the stretch.
