WINTER PARK, Fla. -

Rollins senior outside hitter Nikki Hartman was awarded to the 2009 Rollins Invitational All-Tournament Team selected by the participating coaches, Tuesday.

Hartman guided the Tars to a 3-1 record at the invite with sweeps over Barton and Shepherd and a 3-1 victory over Webber International. The only blemish of the weekend was a 3-0 setback against No. 18 Minnesota State-Mankato.

A native of Deltona, Fla., Hartman finished with 57 kills, averaging 4.38 per set. She finished with a .365 attacking percentage and 47 digs. She's now second on the team with 89 digs (3.30 per set) and attacking percentage (.321), while leading the team in kills (115).

Hartman's best statistical performance came against Webber International where she collected 18 kills and a season-high 19 digs to secure Rollins' second place finish at the tournament.

Joining Hartman on the all-tournament team were Minnesota State's Brittany Stamer, Shepherd's Amanda Hall, Webber's Kristina Reeves and Barton's Meagan Parrott. Tournament MVP was Ally Kwikkel of Mankato.

Rollins volleyball returns to action, Tuesday, Sept. 8 when they travel to West Palm Beach, Fla., for a non-conference showdown against Palm Beach Atlantic at 6 p.m.
