WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Rollins and Georgetown
baseball contest, scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, has been moved to
3:30 p.m., Wednesday, due the anticipation of inclement
weather.
Rain canceled the Tars baseball contest against No. 27 George
Mason, Tuesday as the teams were able to get four innings of play
done before the game was called. Rollins led 4-1 in the top of the
fifth before a heavy rainfall caused the game to be postponed and
later canceled.
The Tars and Hoyas have played two games this season with each
team coming away with a victory resulting in Wednesday's rubber
match. The game will be played at Shirley Povich Field.
