ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (February 28, 2009) –
Rollins stayed undefeated on the young season with a convincing 9-0
win over Eckerd Saturday in Sunshine State Conference action.
The 15th ranked Tars improve to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in league
play while the Tritons fall to 0-3, 0-2 SSC.

Ragsdale, the 15th ranked doubles team in Division II, scored
an 8-2 win over Carolina Sonnervig and Stephanie Jenks in the No. 1
doubles spot. Roshni
Luthra and Holly
Fleming teamed to take Erin McLaughlin and Flavia Russo 8-1 in
the No. 2 position and Stefaniya
Tkach and Allie
Steele downed Jessi Jones and Sonnet Ludwig 8-1 in the No. 3
flight.
Luthra picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Sonnervig at No. 1 singles
while Fleming downed Jenks 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2. Tkach beat Russo 6-3,
6-0 at No. 3 while Junker blanked McLaughlin 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 4
match. Steele was a 6-1, 6-1 victor over Jones and No. 5 and Bradleigh
Lore shutout Telara Buelow 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 6 spot.
Rollins will play another Sunshine State Conference match on
Sunday, Mar. 1 at Tampa with play slated to begin at 10:30 a.m.
