KANSAS CITY, Mo. (November 24, 2009) -
After a convincing 3-0 start, the Rollins men's basketball team
jumped eight spots to No. 16 in the latest NABC/Division II Coaches
Poll, it was announced Tuesday.
Preseason number one BYU-Hawaii, whose season won't begin until
November 25, remains the top team in the first regular season poll.
Central Missouri is second, followed by Valdosta State, Florida
Southern and Bentley.
Rollins will match up with Central Missouri in the two school's
annual clash in Las Vegas this December. The Tars play a
home-and-home with Sunshine State Conference foe Florida Southern
in the regular season while Valdosta State stands as a possible
opponent in the NCAA South Region Tournament.
Rollins travels to West Palm Beach on Tuesday, November 24 for a
match-up with Palm Beach Atlantic. Fans can catch all the action
