The Rollins men's basketball team is looking to get back on track with a big win over conference foe Tampa. The Tars have yet to defeat the Spartans in two years. Rollins is coming off of a tough buzzer-beater loss to the Eckerd College Tritons 66-64 on Saturday afternoon.

STORYLINES
Rollins will look to defeat the University of Tampa for the first time in five meetings. The Tars last defeated the Spartans on January 18, 2006.

SSC STANDINGS
Florida Southern won the regular season SSC title as Tampa and Eckerd are tied for second place, Florida Tech comes in at No. 4 and Rollins is tied for fifth place with Lynn University.

IN THE RANKINGS
The Tars are unranked in the NABC Division II Coaches Poll, but they are second in the Regional Poll on 2/27.

The Spartans lead the All-Time series against the Tars 63-36.

LAST TIME OUT
The Rollins College Tars fell to the Eckerd Tritons 66-64 as Damone Morris hit a half court shot at the buzzer to shock the Tars on Saturday afternoon at the McArthur Center.' Just seconds before, the Craig Reichel gave Rollins a one point lead with a three pointer with three seconds to go.' Rollins drops to 19-8 overall and 8-8 in SSC play.

SCOUTING THE TARS
All-American Jonny Reibel leads Rollins with 20.3 points per game and 7.1 assists. Craig Reichel (12.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and Nick Wolf (11.5 ppg and 7.4 rpg) have led the Tars in the front court, while Kevin Hogan (12.7 ppg) and Jeremy Sharpe (13.0 ppg) have provided support in the back court.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
The Spartans are led by Jeremy Black who is averaging 18.6 points per game and 10.6 rebounds per contest. Rashad Callaway leads Tampa in assists with 4.1 per game. Tampa ranks first in the Sunshine State Conference in blocks with 4.52 per contest. The Spartans will look to defeat the Tars for the sixth consecutive time.
