21 Rollins College Tars playing without the services of injured
Craig Reichel fell short at Lynn University 69-66.'
The Tars (18-5, 7-5) were led by Jonny Reibel with 19 points,
while Greg Sweeney added 15 and Nick Wolf chipped in 10. The Tars
shot 54 percent from the field and were only 6 of 20 from three
point range.'
The Fighting Knights (14-10, 7-6) were led by a 22 point
performance by Randy Jones including 6-9 from long distance. The
Knights had two other players in double figures as Ed Millard had
17 points and Hans Schur tallied 10. The Knights shot 47.2 percent
from the field on the night and 10-25 from long distance and 9 of
11 at the stripe.

The game began with the teams going back and forth, as the lead
changed hands three times in the first five minutes. The Tars
opened up a 15 point bulge at 25-10 with nearly 9:00 minutes to go
in the half. That lead was cut to 39-31 at the break.
Lynn took the lead on a Chris Hall 3 with 12 minutes to go at
51-49 and would hold on for the 69-66 win when Jonny Reibel's three
at the buzzer fell short.
The Tars had 14 costly turnovers to just seven for the Knights.
The Knights had 18 assists to 14 for the Tars. The Tars won the
rebounding battle 30-24.
Rollins will be back in action on Wednesday, February 20 when
they travel to Ft. Lauderdale to take on the Nova Southeastern
Sharks at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen to all the action live on the
