The Rollins men's basketball team returns to action for a
non-conference showdown against in-state foe, Southeasten, Monday,
Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Warden Arena.
The Tars owns the all-time series against the Fire, capturing
victories in each of their three meetings. Last year, Rollins
defeated Southeastern, 75-72 in the Tars' season opener. In the
two seasons prior, the Tars won by an average of 22 points.
Sophomore guard Jeremy Sharpe continues to pace the Tars
offensively, becoming the first player to reach 100 points on the
season. He owns a 17.0 ppg average and is shooting 49 percent from
the floor, while scoring at least 10 points in seven-straight games
dating back to the 2007-08 season.
Senior Kevin Hogan has found his stroke from beyond the 3-point
arc, shooting 13-for-30, recording a team-high 43.3 percent, which
places him third on the school's all-time list in 3-point field
goal percentage. Hogan has recorded at least one 3-pointer in the
past 29 games.
Sophomore Nick Wolf returned to the line-up in time for the Florida
Southern game and made an immediate impact. The Tars' per game
rebounding leader is averaging 7.3 and is second on the team
averaging 13.7 ppg.
Defensively, senior transfer Zach Pancratz leads the team with 10
steals and has hauled in a team-best 37 rebounds. The Schaumburg,
Ill., native also has dished out 25 assists becoming the Tars lead
set-up man. Fellow senior Craig Reichel owns the team-high mark
with seven blocks and follows Pancratz with 19 assists and 35
rebounds.
