SAVANNAH, Ga. (January 26, 2008) ' Rollins was
stifled by third ranked NAIA Savannah College of Art & Design
on Saturday, falling 170-33.
The Tars gathered just two third place finishes and three fourth
places on the day while the Bees took first and second in every
event. Casey Shufelt led Rollins with a pair of fourth place
finishes. She finished the 200 yard freestyle in 2:08.64 and the
500 yard freestyle in 5:52.77.
Corie Kelly, who is getting back to form after a semester
abroad, was third in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:06.25. Freshman
Stephanie Posner took third in the 100 yard breaststroke in
1:17.36. Ally Best was fourth in the 1000 yard freestyle with a
time of 11:35.64.
The Rollins swim teams will look to get back to their winning
ways on Saturday, February 2 when they will host Florida Southern
in the final dual meet of the season. The first event is set to
leave the blocks at 1 p.m.
