WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 7, 2007) ' The Rollins men's soccer team and West Florida played dead even for the first 60 minutes, but an unlucky rebound allowed the Argonauts to hand the Tars a 1-0 loss in front of a sellout crowd at Barker Family Stadium.

The loss drops Rollins to 3-2 on the young season while 20th ranked West Florida improves to 4-1.

The contest's lone score came at the 61:03 mark as the Tars' Jon Gruenewald fired off a shot that was saved by UWF keeper Juan Garcia. The Argo's quickly cleared the carom to Jimmy McHenry who made his way through the Rollins defense and flicked a shot past a diving Frazer Siddall. Rollins continued to attack the final 29 minutes, but five saves by Garcia kept the host Tars off the board.

Siddall gathered one save on the night while allowing the one goal with Garcia totaling seven stops in the shutout. The Tars owned a big 17-9 advantage in shots and 8-1 lead in corner kicks.

Rollins will look to get back on track with a Sunday, September 9 matinee against Thomas University. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Barker Family Stadium and Cahall-Sandspur Field. Fans can watch all the action live at www.RollinsSports.tv.
