SAINT LEO, Fla. (April 24, 2007) ' A Tars late seventh inning run was not enough as the Rollins softball team succumbed to the Saint Leo Lions 5-2 on Tuesday evening at University Field.

Leading the way for the Tars was left fielder Jamie Rausch who went 1-2 on the evening, notching her sixth homerun of the season. Lauren Winney, Lauren Starcher, Victoria Rudolph, Sherri Rabenold and Amanda DeFilippo contributed with one single a piece, while shortstop Rachel Almengual hit her eighth double.

Sophomore Nicole Anderson (23-9) picked up her ninth loss as she tossed in 15 strikeouts in six innings pitched.

Designated player Ally Maddox tallied her seventh homerun for the Lions (31-20, 13-9), and Ashley Urbanik won her 22nd game in the circle for Saint Leo.
