WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 14, 2007) ' Nicole
Anderson pitched her third perfect game of the season with 12
strikeouts defeating the Kentucky State Thorobreds 8-0 (five
innings) on Wednesday morning at Lake Island Park. The Tars (21-6)
are currently riding a 12-game winning streak, 11 of which came at
home.
Leftfielder Jamie Rausch went 2-3 on the morning and knocked her
third homerun of the season out of the park. Stacy Sanders hit her
13th double going 1-2 with two RBI.
Rollins jumped all over the Thorobreds in the first inning,
driving in five quick runs. Ingrid Schumacher slapped her second
double going 1-2 with two RBI. Sherri Rabenold also went 1-2
notching her 18th and 19th stolen base this season.
The Tars will be back in action on Saturday, March 17 when they
take on the Albany State Golden Rams. The first pitch is scheduled
for 2:00 p.m. at Lake Island Park.
