FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (October 20, 2007) ' The Rollins women's soccer team scored in the 80th minute to tie the score at one against No. 10 Nova Southeastern, but NSU fired back with the game-winner six minutes later, handing the Tars a 2-1 loss on Saturday night.' Rollins dropped to an even 7-7-1 overall and 3-3-1 in Sunshine State Conference play, while the Sharks improved to 9-2-1, 4-1-1.

The Tars fought back and tied the score at one on freshman midfielder Leah Hirsch's first career goal; NSU goalkeeper Sarah Glass came off of her line to make a stop, and Hirsch collected the loose ball outside the penalty area and knocked it past Glass for the equalizer.' The game-winner came at the 85:24 mark when Lauren Prow received a cross from Burton on the right side and touched it past the keeper.

Rollins goalkeeper Stina Lykke Petersen made six saves in goal for the Tars, while Glass stopped three shots for NSU.' The Sharks led the shot count 13-7, but Rollins held a 5-2 corner kick advantage.' NSU played a flat defense and worked the offsides trap all game, as the Tars were caught offsides 13 times.
