The Mocs then started to connect and got to within five, but a lay-up by Barker and trey by Musgrove pushed the advantage back to double-digits, 20-10. Folks single handily got FSC back into the game as she hit back-to-back-to-back jumpers to make the score 20-16. Free throws by both teams in the waning minutes put the game at 26-21, Rollins heading into the locker room.

Rollins was unable to pull away early in the second half and a small run by the Mocs tied the score at 34-34 with 12:10 on the clock. Rollins re-took the lead and were up by as much as nine, but Southern fought back to within two, 50-48 with just under five minutes to play. A pair of Jennifer Catti free throws sparked an 8-0 Tars run that put the game away and kept Rollins atop the Sunshine State Conference standings.
