Five seconds later, Giblin lofted one over the keeper's head from 30 yards out to give the Tars a 3-0 advantage. Nine more seconds ran off the clock before Giblin scored goal number two of the game, this time on a header off a Mohr cross. Merrill broke the Chargers back in the 26th minute as her free kick from near the half line went off the keepers hands and into the net, giving the Tars a 5-0 halftime advantage.
