2013: The junior started 39 games for the Tars, all but one of them at 3B. She finished with a .305 batting average for the year with 32 hits, 22 runs, 8 home runs, and 21 RBIs. Her eight homeruns ranked third in the SSC. She homered in five out of six games, including four straight, against Eckerd and Albany State on her way to being named the SSC Player of the Week (3/22-3/28). Brown batted in four twice during the campaign versus Lynn and Southern New Hampshire. One of the top third basemen in the conference, Hilary did not make her first, and only, error of the season until the last game of the year. Hilary currently ranks second all-time with 8 sacrifice flies, and the fifth most assists (209) in program history.
2012: Played in all 54 games in her sophomore season, including 53 starts...was relied on heavily for her glove at third base, committing just nine errors in over 150 chances...recorded 20 hits in 77 at-bats, good for a .260 average...added three home runs to go along with a pair of doubles, driving in a total of 23 runs.
2011: Started 45 games in her freshman season and proved to be one of the Tars'' most reliable infielders...ended the year with a .948 fielding percentage with 36 put outs and 56 assists in 97 chances...at the plate, Brown hit .250 with 22 hits in 88 at-bats, including five doubles to go along with 12 runs scored.
High School: Brown was part of a Naples High Gold Eagles team that went 111-8 in her four years, which included a State Championship...advanced to the postseason all four years and advanced to the state championship twice and region final twice...during her career as a Golden Eagle, Brown ran cross country and played basketball.
