Biography

Fall 2011: Started her senior year by advancing to the second round of the Wilson/ITA South Region Championship in singles, and then teaming with Lisa Loft to earn a spot in the tournament''s third round...The duo won their first match of the A Flight at the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational before the remainder of the event was canceled due to weather; played in B Flight singles and won her opening round match.

2010-11: Finished the season ranked No. 16 in the nation in doubles with partner Margaret Junker - named Honorable Mention All-Sunshine State Conference...The tandem posted a 14-13 mark playing the No. 1 flight, and were 4-4 in conference play. They were 1-5 against ranked opponents, beating the No. 16 team from Florida Southern...went 8-1 in singles play, including a perfect 7-0 record at the No. 6 position. Only had two matches advance to a third set. Unbeaten in SSC play...Started the fall at the Embry-Riddle Invitational and found success at the Wilson/ITA South Region Championship, advancing to the quarterfinals as the fifth-seed. Won her first singles match before falling to the eighth-ranked player and eventual region champion... named to both the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner''s Honor Roll and Rollins Athletic Director''s Honor Roll both semesters.

2009-10: Earned ITA All-America honors in doubles with partner Margaret Junker, finishing the season ranked 10th in the nation - named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference in doubles. Posted a 16-9 record, all in the top flight, in singles action. Went 5-3 in conference play and were 2-4 against nationally ranked opponents; beating the No. 15 and No. 22 ranked tandems during the season. In singles play, posted a record of 13-6, going 2-0 at No. 4, 8-5 at No. 3 and 3-1 at No. 6...Started the Fall season with a runner-up finish in the singles Blue Flight at the Embry-Riddle Invitational, falling to doubles partner Margaret Junker in the finals. Advanced to the semifinals of the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational''s doubles draw... named to both the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner''s Honor Roll and Rollins Athletic Director''s Honor Roll both semesters.

2008-09: Jumped right into the national spotlight to begin her freshman season, teaming with Margaret Junker and earning a place in the national rankings the entire season. The duo posted a record of 14-9 playing in the top seeded position and was ranked as high as 13th during the year before finishing 23rd. The tandem went 6-2 in conference play to earn All-Sunshine State Conference First Team honors. In singles play, Ragsdale posted a mark of 15-4 playing in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions. In the fall season, she teamed with Junker for the first time and won the Blue Flight Doubles at the Embry-Riddle Open and advanced to the semifinals of the C.L. Varner Memorial Tournament.  In the classroom, she was named to both the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner''s Honor Roll and Rollins Athletic Director''s Honor Roll both semesters.

High School: Was named First Team All-District, All-Area, and All-Region for her junior and senior year. Also was Team Captain and made the Academic All-State team.

Personal: Born 6/2/89...Daughter of Ron and Stefani Ragsdale...Majoring in politics.
