Biography

2010-11: Played 26 games and earned 13 starts...scored her first career double-double with a career-best 15 points and 10 rebounds at Nova Southeastern (Jan. 29)...Also reached double-digits in scoring with 13 points against Florida Southern (Feb. 19)...ended the season averaging 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds a game...perfect from the 3-point line with a 1-1 performance at Saint Leo (Jan. 15).

2009-10: Saw action in all 29 games for the Tars, averaging more than 10 minutes per game...posted three points and 1.5 rebounds per game...best statistical game of the year came at Lynn (Dec. 5) with eight points and five rebounds in 20 minutes of action...tied a career best with 10 points in win over Nova Southeastern (Jan. 13)...second on the team in shooting percentage, hitting 47 percent (38-81) from the field...named to the Sunshine State Commissioner''s Honor Roll and Rollins Athletic Director''s Honor Roll.

2008-09:  Played in 14 games to finish with 19 total points...in first appearance of her collegiate career, scored two points against Elizabeth City State (11/15/08)...scored a career-best 10 points versus Puerto Rico-Cayey (11/20/08) with six rebounds...ended with 17 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in her first season.

High School:  Four-year letter winner at Agawam High School...started four years and led the Brownies to the second round of post season play as a freshman...during her sophomore season the team went 14-7 with another trip to the post season...scored 945 points during her career with 626 rebounds and 383 assists...selected as honorable mention all-region as a freshman...three-time second-team all-region the succeeding years...participated in the Vermont All-Star Challenge and the Springfield Boys and Girls Club All-Star Game...four-year letter winner in field hockey and softball...team MVP in field hockey and a captain on both teams.

Personal:  Born Julie Marie Gorman, daughter of Thomas and Margaret Gorman...one brother, Tom Jr. ...two sisters, Katie and Tammy...enjoys drawing and shopping...plans to pursue a degree in Critical Media and Culture.
