Former standout point guard Tami Stark enters her 23rd season as an assistant coach for the Tars in 2019-20. During that time, the Tars have posted at least 20 victories in all but four seasons, claimed 10 Sunshine State Conference regular season championships. She was instrumental in leading Rollins to new heights in 2012 as the Tars advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the first time in school history.

Stark assists in all aspects of the program, focusing on guard play and game management. She handles offense adjustments and substitution rotations for the Tars.

During her four seasons as a player with the Tars, Rollins posted an 80-33 overall record, including three 20+ victory seasons. The Tars also earned the first two trips to the NCAA Division II Tournament in school history.

Stark finished her career ranked among Rollins' career leaders in several statistical categories. She is second in assists with 518, fourth in steals with 280, and 15th in free throws with 222.

While at Rollins, Stark was also a member of the first varsity women's soccer team and earned third team GTE Academic All-America honors.

In addition to her duties for the Tars, Stark is an Instructional Designer for OCPS. She received her Master's Degree in Education from the Rollins' Holt School in 2001. Known during her playing career as Tami Newcomb, she married Don Stark in 2002 and they have two children, Braden and Luke.
