Using her quickness and athleticism, as well as her background in basketball to help her pick up the defensive concepts... coaches are impressed with how quickly she adapted to the sport after joining in the spring season, and are expecting her to be a strong contender.

Rollins Soccer: Four year letter winner for the Tars... played in 53 games as a defender, scoring her lone goal from the back lines her senior season at Thomas University on 9/14/2008... added three assists throughout her career for a total of five points overall.

High School: Four year starter in soccer at Melbourne Central Catholic High School where she was named team captain as a senior and helped her team win the state championship as a sophomore and a junior ... received All-County Honorable Mention and All-County second team soccer honors... was voted “Player''s Player” as a sophomore ... club soccer team won the state championship in 2005 and was the runner-up in 2002 ... Mu Alpha Theta treasurer and member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and the honor roll ... also ran track in high school where she finished third in the district and sixth in the region in the 1600-meter run.

Personal: daughter of Anne Marie and Michael Martin ... majoring in Psychology...  serves as president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
