Phenomenal athlete who has the ability to become a standout player for the Tars... has done a great job so far in transitioning to the collegiate game... coaches will expect her to help lead both on and off the field this season.

High School: Played midfield for the Columbus School for girls from 2004 to 2008... led the Unicorns in points and assists her junior and senior years, and was named captain and team MVP her senior season... named Honorable Mention All-State her sophomore season, and selected for Second Team All-State and First Team All-State her junior and senior years, respectively... as a junior, was voted to the All Ohio Team and was an All-Amerinca nominee... was also honored on the Great Lakes National Team... played club lacrosse for the X-Team and Midwestern Force... was also a four year letter winner and team captain in soccer for the Unicorns, earning All-District and Team MVP honors as the lead scorer... Durell was also a member of the diving team.

Personal: Daughter of Anne and David Durell... has a brother, John, and a sister, Jeanne... father played football at Williams, and mother was a member of the crew team at Yale... major is undecided, but has future plans to open up her own gym.
