Biography

One of the top female golfers in the United States: Individual NCAA Division II National Champion, three-time collegiate All-American and participant in 2008 and 2009 U.S. Women’s Amateur and was a semifinals at the 2009 USGA Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship. Also one of the top ping-pong players on campus, regularly going head-to-head with Rollins’ President Dr. Lewis Duncan for the College’s top ranking. 

2009-10: Added three more victories to her illustrious resume and now totals eight in her three-year collegiate career. Posted a 73.81 stroke average in 33 rounds with a low round of 69 at the NCAA Regional Championship. Averaged a third place finish in the Tars 12 events, finishing no worse than T7 in any tournament. Got off to an extraordinary start of the 2009-10 season; won two and finished runner-up in two of the Tars four tournaments. Came out of the gate on fire, winning the Princeton Invitational in her home state of New Jersey by two strokes (74-71). Backed up her opening performance with a runner-up finish at the Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational (74-70-76) while recording the event’s lowest round with a second round, two-under par 70. Returned to the Sunshine State to dominate the Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational, posting a seven shot victory over the 71-golfer field. Shot a two-under 70 the first day and finished with a three-under 69 in the final round. Completed the fall slate with a runner-up finish at the Ross Resorts Invitational-Mid Pines, turning scores of 74-71-74. Finished tied for fourth at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate to begin the spring season and followed with a runner-up finish, the third of the year, at the Lady Moc Classic, shooting rounds of 77-73-78. Posted four more top-10 finishes at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, Dr. Donnis Invitational and Georgetown Hoya Invitational. Paced the field after the first two rounds of the SSC Tournament and finished tied for seventh with a scores of 73-73-79. Ran away from the field at the NCAA Super Regional championships, finishing one-under par with rounds of 72-71-69. Capped off the year with a third place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships with a score of 295 (74-70-77-74). Named First Team All-America, First Team All-Region and First Team All-Sunshine State Conference and was also honored as the SSC Golfer of the Week on February 8. Excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-America honors. 

2008-09: Finished in the top-10 in 11 of the Tars 12 tournaments with eight top-5, six top-2 finishes and three victories. Posted back-to-back victories to open the spring, championship season, winning the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate and Lady Moc Classic. Later went on to win the Sunshine State Conference Championship on the second playoff hole over teammate Brianna Seo and Maria Garcia Austt of Nova Southeastern, leading Rollins to the team title. Tied her career best round with a 68 at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate and career best two-round score of 138 (-6). Named first team NGCA All-American, first team NGCA All-South Region and first team All-Sunshine State Conference. Named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week February 9 and March 9. An excellent student as well, earned NGCA PING Academic All-American honors as well as a spots on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s and Rollins Athletic Director’s honor rolls. 
 
2007-08: 2008 NCAA Division II National Champion. Broke previous national championship scoring record by five strokes with a one-under par 287. Also set a new best for lowest round, shooting 68 in the third round. Led Rollins to new tournament scoring record and 12th team national championship (fifth in previous six years). Became third Rollins player to earn medalist honors at national championship and second freshman (Charlotte Campbell-2005). Played in all 11 Rollins tournaments, finishing no worse than T22 (season opening Yale Invitational). Placed in the top-5 six times with two victories (Ross Resorts Invitational, National Championship) and three runner-up (Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, Georgetown Hoya Invitational, Sunshine State Conference Championship) finishes. Earned a team best 75.67 stroke average in 31 rounds. Posted best round of 68 at NCAA National Championships. Named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week April 7, 2008; member of All-Sunshine State Conference second-team. First team NGCA All-South Region. Also named NGCA All-American and NGCA Ping Academic All-American. Named to Rollins Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

High School: A two-sport athlete at Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey. In golf, was a four-time NJSIAA All-State selection and NJSIAA Scholar Athlete. Earned All-South Jersey honors while playing for the boy’s team; named Cape Atlantic League All-Star. Press of Atlantic City and Courier Post All-Star. Cape Atlantic League Scholar Athlete. Led her team to the 2006 Cape Atlantic League championship and South/Central Group 3 Championship. Also earned four varsity letters in soccer and is school’s all-time leader in goals and assists. Member of National Honor Society, High Honor Roll and was a finalist for Wendy’s High School Heisman. 

Personal: born 8/30/1989...parents Kathleen and Michael Coe...Political Science major...plays ping-pong and enjoys skiing and football. Lists favorite movie as Mean Girls, book To Kill a Mockingbird, TV show Grey’s Anatomy, actress Sandra Bullock, actor Will Smith and song “Getting Jiggy Wit It” by Will Smith.
