Devanshi Naik

Assistant Coach since: 2019-20

Devanshi Naik joined Rollins women's golf as assistant coach prior to the 2019-20 season. A former standout student-athlete at Louisiana-Monroe, Naik came to Winter Park after serving as Graduate Assistant at Central Michigan for two seasons.

Naik was born in the United Kingdom and raised in Lusaka, Zambia where she developed a passion for golf. She became the country's top-ranked player and competed in tournaments all over the world. She was named the Junior Sports Woman of the Year by the National Sports Council of Zambia. Naik's college career started at Western Texas College where she twice earned All-America honors, and won both the Sam Houston Invitational and South Padre Brown Invitational.

After two seasons at WTC and graduating with a 4.0 GPA, Naik joined Louisiana-Monroe and participated in 19 tournaments over the final two years of her playing career. In 57 rounds, she posted a 79.98 scoring average and as a senior finished tied for seventh at the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagle Jam. She was a member of the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List, President's List, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and earned a B.A of Science in Kinesiology with Sum Cum Laude distinctions.

As a coach, Naik has assisted in leading CMU to new heights. The Chippewas broke nearly all individual and team records under Naik's leadership, moved up 21 spots in the national ranking from the previous season and finished third at the Mid-American Conference Fall Preview, bettering a ninth place finish the year prior.
