2013: Alred was the undisputed leader of this year’s team, starting all 52 games behind the plate for the Tars. She continued her stellar performance, adding second team Daktronics All-South Region, second team All-SSC, and NFCA All-Region honors to her resume in 2013. Alred was also named the SSC and Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II National Player of the Week of February 27th. The junior finished second in the SSC in RBIs (44), third in home runs (8), and fourth in total bases (85). Smacked her second career grand slam giving her seven RBI’s in a 16-0 win over Kentucky State on Feb. 21, tied her for the second most in a game in program history.
2012: Showed her versatility and leadership as a sophomore, moving behind the plate even after earning SSC Freshman of the Year honors primarily at third base her freshman season, starting 51 games...recorded 42 hits, including 13 doubles, a triple, and two homeruns, driving in 63 runs, good for seventh best on the team.
2011: Played in 34 games in her freshman season, starting 30...hit .345 with five home runs and six doubles...finished second on the team in stolen bases with nine in 10 attempts...was named to the All-SSC second team as well as garnered Freshman of the Year honors in the conference.
High School: Alred was a two postion player at Suncoast HS and left with a distinguished career...she led the Chargers to a district championship in 2009 along with garnering many accolades...she collected First Team All-Region and All-Metro her freshmen and junior seasons...Alred picked up Second Team All-Metro her sophomore and senior seasons along with a First Team All-Region selection in her final year...As a Charger, Alred was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2007 and 2010 along with a Defensive Player of the Year in 2008, but her most impressive award was her MVP Award in 2009.
