Biography

2020 (Junior): Saw action in 15 games for the Tars mainly at first base… picked up two hits and an RBI while scoring two runs.

2019 (Saint Peter’s): Started all 56 of the team’s games… repeated as the offensive core for the Peacocks hitting a team-high .261 with seven doubles, a team-leading six homers, and 25 RBIs… her 40 hits also paced the squad… honored as the April Student-Athlete of the Month… named to the MAAC All-Academic team for a third straight year.

2018 (Saint Peter’s): Named Saint Peter’s Sophomore Female Student-Athlete of the Year… Appeared in 48 games for the Peacocks… serving as their primary source of offense, she the team in most major offensive categories including batting average (.307), Slugging Percentage (.567), doubles (11), homeruns (8), RBIs (22), and Total Bases (72), and walks (11)… picked up Pepsi MAAC Female Student- Athlete of the Week honors… her efforts landed her on the MAAC All-Rookie Team… she also was named to the MAAC All-Academic team… honored with the Saint Peter’s Department of Student Life and Development’s Ignatius Flame Award for a second straight year.

2017 (Saint Peter’s): Did not play due to injury… named to the MAAC All-Academic team… recipient of the Saint Peter’s Department of Student Life and Development’s Ignatius Flame Award.

High School: Ahighly decorated player for South Dade… named the 9A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior… a member of the 9A All-State Team all for years including first team recognition in 2015 and 2016… earned a spot on the All-Dade Team all four years highlighted as a first-teamer in 2015 and 2016… set the state record for RBIs as a senior with 80… served as team captain for the Buccaneers her junior and senior year… played for the Puerto Rican Jr National Team (2015) and completed in the Jr Women’s World Championship, placing third, becoming a bronze medalist… played in eight of the games compiling a .286 batting average…named Best All-Around Athlete South Dade Sr High (2015-2016)… recipient of the Primos Copa Dorada Award (2016)… Principal Honor Roll & Honor Roll all four years… graduated with a 4.0 GPA. 

Personal: Daughter of Ramon and Tabetha Ramirez… has an older brother, Anthony, and a younger sister, Olivia… majoring in Elementary Education.
