Jackie McKenna

Jackie McKenna joins the Rollins College softball coaching staff after a standout collegiate playing career at Mississippi State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in criminology and a masters in Workforce Educational Leadership. She competed in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as a catcher, designated player, and outfielder.

During her five-year tenure at Mississippi State, McKenna appeared in over 200 games, bringing consistent offensive production and elite defensive skills to the field. In her final season (2023), she posted a .997 fielding percentage—tied for second in MSU single-season history—and finished among team leaders in RBIs and doubles. Known for her clutch performances against top-25 programs, she helped guide the Bulldogs through some of the SEC’s most competitive matchups.

McKenna earned numerous academic and athletic accolades throughout her college career, including multiple NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, SEC Honor Roll selections, and a place on the 2023 SEC Community Service Team. She was also recognized with the MSU Dowsing-Bell Perseverance Award. 

A native of Parkland, Florida, she starred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where she was a team captain, All-State selection, and a key player for the New Jersey Intensity travel program.
