Spring 2013: Named the 2013 ITA South Region Rookie of the Year and ITA National Rookie of the Year in his first season with the Tars. Also selected as a member of the 2013 All-SSC Second Team. He finished with a 16-5 overall singles record and boasted an unblemished mark in conference play playing in the #2 and #3 slots. Marchione led Rollins to a third place finish in SSC tournament and a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh consecutive season. The freshman’s biggest win came against then-No. 28 Alessio Iannozzi of No. 3 Lynn. He downed the conference foe 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 on Feb. 8. He finished the doubles campaign with an overall 12-10 record, 3-3 in SSC play.
High School: Attended HHG Kaiserslautern Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern, Germany...played with the Tennisclub Rot-Weiss Kaiserslautern before and including all three high school...was ranked as high as 298th in Germany.
