Biography

Four-year letter winner and two-year starting point guard for the Tars who moves from the floor to the bench in 2012-13...Leadership and knowledge of Rollins'' system will be a huge asset for the Tars younger players.

PLAYING CAREER:

2011-12: Only player to start every game for the Tars and served as Tom Klusman''s floor general...Led Rollins and the Sunshine State Conference with 4.0 assists per game...Averaged 8.0 points, 3.6 rebounds per night...Finished fourth in the SSC with 1.8 steals per game...Also racked up eight blocks per game...Led Rollin in scoring three times, including a career-high 19 points against Florida Southern (Dec. 3)...Finished career fifth on Rollins all-time steals list with 175.

2010-11: Played and started in all 32 games for the Tars, running the point and averaging 27 minutes a game...averaged 6.5 points and two rebounds a night, while finishing second on the team with 77 assists...led the Tars and was fifth in the Sunshine State Conference with 55 steals...shot 58 percent from the field (65-112) and 76 percent (64-84) percent from the free throw line...logged seven games scoring in double-digits, tying his career record of 14 points four-times...gathered a career best six boards in the season opener against Valdosta State (11/12/10)....recorded two blocks twice, in games against Puerto Rico Rio PIedras (11/22/10) and Florida Southern (2/19/11).

2009-10: Quickly became the Tars spark and defensive specialist coming off the bench...saw action in all 33 games with one start (Clayton State - 12/30/09)...Averaged 5.6 points and 2.4 boards per game in 23 minutes of action a night...Led the Tars and was second in the Sunshine State Conference with 60 steals...was also second on team in free throw percentage, going 47-67 (70 percent) from the line...scored in double-figures twice...went 4-for-5 from both the field and free throw line en route to a career high 12 points in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship game against Barry (3/7/10)...represents the basketball team as a member of the Rollins Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

2008-09: Redshirt.

2007-08: Saw action in 20 games and finished with 33 points...was 3-for-7 (.429) in three-pointers...collected 11 steals with 15 rebounds...dished 12 assists...set a career-high with seven points in 16 minutes of action versus Puerto Rico-Cayey (11/21/07)...grabbed a career-best four rebounds against Florida Southern (2/23/08).

High School: Scott was a member of the First Team All-County and Second Team All-State Class 3A, playing guard at Mt. Dora High School.

Personal: Born on 12/6/88...son of John Scott and Kelly Goga..graduated with a degree in International Relations and is currently pursuing an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
