Biography

2010 (Junior):  Became one of the Tars’ most effective bullpen pitchers…finished with a 3-0 record with a 5.00 ERA and two saves…appeared in 17 games and started three games…earned fist victory against Lynn (4/1/10) out of the bullpen after pitching 5.1 innings and allowed just one hit and no runs to pick up a 4-3 come-from-behind victory…earned third victory of the season with a six inning performance against the seventh-ranked Florida Southern Moccasins in a 10-3 win…saw two appearances at the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament against Albany State and Southern Arkansas.

Prior to Rollins:
2009 (Stanford):
  Made one appearance for the Cardinal and pitched a third of an inning…allowed two hits and three runs.

2008 (Stanford):
 Resumed pitching for the first time since his 2007 elbow surgery...made his collegiate debut in the second game of Stanford''s opening day doubleheader against Nebraska, retiring two of the three batters he faced in relief (one hit batsmen)...did not pitch the remainder of the season, but was with the club. 

2007 (Stanford): 
Was a member of the team, but did not see any action due to injury and was granted a medical redshirt season. 

High School: Graduated in 2006 from St. Albans School in Washington, D.C.... earned 2006 All-Met honorable mention accolades by the Washington Post when he posted a 3-4 record with a 1.12 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 43.0 innings as a senior...was a first-team All-Met selection by the Washington Post as a junior in 2005, after going 7-1 with a 1.40 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 50.0 innings...also chipped in at the plate with a .350 batting average, 19 runs scored, seven doubles, two homers and 14 RBIs...earned first-team All-Interstate Athletic Conference honors in both 2005 and 2006...led his team to the conference championship in 2005 and a No. 7 ranking in the D.C. Metropolitan Area...named a National Merit Scholar Finalist...coached by Bob Brown and Buddy Burkhead. 

Personal:
 Son of Robert and Hale Krasne...has one sister, Meg, who plays collegiate softball at the University of Pennsylvania...father rowed collegiately at Georgetown, while his cousin, Matt Kenkel, was a gymnast at the Air Force Academy...is a fan of the Washington Nationals...hobbies include tennis and reading…credits his father for having the greatest influence in his life...majoring in political science.
