2012 (RSophomore): Appeared in five contests for the Tars and finished the season batting .250...notched one hit in four at-bats and scored three runs.

2011 (RFreshman):  The redshirt freshman appeared in eight games off the bench, starting one against No. 8 Tampa (4/9)...tallied one multiple-RBI game...finished the season with a .375 batting average, .500 on-base percentage and .625 slugging percentage...recorded one hit on three occasions...scored a career-high two runs against Stonehill (3/15), to go along with two RBI.

2010 (Freshman): Sat out year to redshirt.

High School:  Played infield for the Pembroke Pines Charter High School Jaguars…hit .430 as a junior and .413 during his senior year…biggest team win occurred against Cardinal Gibbons in the district semifinals…selected for the 2008 Sarasota Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team…also played for the Florida Bombers.

Personal:  Born Tyler David Jacobs, Nov. 13, 1990 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla…parents Bobby and Gail Jacobs…one brother Jake (14)…credits his parents for having the greatest influence on his life...undecided major.
