Biography

2016 (Red-Shirt Junior): Appeared in 40 games for the Tars, starting all of them, predominantly playing right field… finished the year with a .381 batting average, recording 10 doubles, two triples, and three homeruns… drove in 28 runs while slugging .537 and achieving a .440 on base percentage… went 4-5, with a seventh inning, game-tying, homerun and three RBI, including the walk-off in a 5-4 win over Lynn on April 1… named the SSC Player of the Week for the week of February 1-7... nominated for the Rollins Male Athlete of the Year Award

2015 (Junior): In his second season at Rollins, Fairbanks redshirted due to injury..Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll...Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll.

2014 (Sophomore): In his first season donning the Tars Blue &Gold, Fairbanks appeared in 30 games and started 21…registered 15 hits, seven runs, seven RBI, five walks and eight stolen bases…batted .183 in his first season with a .280 on base percentage and .183 slugging percentage…went 3-for-5 with two runs and a RBI against Concordia (3/5)…drove in a career-best three against Florida Tech (4/4)…recorded two multi-hit and one multi-RBI games…longest hit of season was five consecutive games...SSC Spring Commissioner''s Honor Roll...Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll.

Prior to Rollins – George Washington: Spent freshman year at Division I George Washington before transferring to Rollins…appeared in nine games for the Colonials and hit .286 in 14 at-bats…notched four hits and scored one run while driving in one.

High School: Played prep career at Georgetown Preparatory School, where he was a two-sport athlete…named All-Atlantic Honorable Mention junior year…tabbed as a preseason First Team All-League (IAC) selection…football honors include First Team All-League, First Team All-County and All-State Honorable Mention…played for Diamond Skills Baseball from 2009-11.
