2012: Provided depth at the corners for the Tars in her first season after transferring from Seminole State, playing in 21 games including eight starts...recorded eight hits, most coming in pinch hit situations, including two doubles and a home run, driving in seven runs.
2011 (Seminole State College): Played in 57 games as a sophomore for Seminole State...batted .225 with 31 hits and 29 RBI...also collected a host of academic achievements including being named NFCA Academic All-American, FCCAA Academic All-State, MFC Academic All-Conference, and also earned the 2010-11 NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Award.
2010 (Seminole State College): Played in 44 games for Seminole State College of Florida...notched 229 putouts, 27 assists and a .962 fielding percentage as a first and third baseman for the Raiders...batted .316 with 21 RBI, and a team-leading three home runs...was named Raiders'' 2010 Outstanding Freshman of the Year.
High School: Turner played both corner infield positions for the Rams of Lake Mary High School and led her team to three conference titles and one district crown during her career...during her time as a Ram, she garnered many post season accolades highlighted by a senior season where she was named District Player of the Year, First Team All-Central Florida, as well as First Team All-Seminole Athletic Conference.
Personal: Born 6/18/91...daughter of Pam and Steve Turner...majoring in Elementary Education...was teammates with current Tar pitcher Hope Bitzer at both Seminole State College and AAU team the Seminole Warriors coached by Hope''s father, Jack Bitzer.
