Biography

2010 (Senior):   Led the team with three saves in appeared in a career-high 19 games…made six starts and finished with a 2-5 record with a 6.71 ERA…logged 51.0 innings and registered 43 strikeouts, the most out of the relievers…earned first save of the season against St. Thomas (2/20/10) to preserve a 2-0 victory…earned first win of the season in a combined shutout performance after throwing seven scoreless innings and surrendering five hits and tied a career-best with nine strikeouts…made final appearance of the season at the Division II South Region Tournament against Southern Arkansas (5/16/10)  where he pitched three innings and allowed three runs, none earned…was named to the 62nd Annual Rollins College Baseball Week All-Tournament Team.

2009 (Junior): 
 Enjoyed a break out year with a 6-2 record in 17 appearances and started in 10 games…had one complete-game and earned a combined shutout…logged 78.1 innings pitched…allowed a career-low 73 hits and 30 earned runs, tying the team-best…eighth in the Sunshine State Conference in pitching with a 3.45 ERA…third on the team in strikeouts with 57…held opponents to a .253 batting average…earned the victory in the Tars biggest win of the season after holding No. 16 Ohio State (3/23/09) to five hits and one run over six innings  with three strikeouts in a 4-1 upset victory…went the distance against Eckerd (4/24/09) allowing eight hits and two runs in a 6-2 victory with a season-high nine strikeouts…earned a no decision against Nova Southeastern (4/3/09) after pitching 7.2 innings while allowing a run in a 1-0 loss…contributed two innings in a shutout victory against Saint Anselm (3/05/09) after allowing two hits with three strikeouts.

2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games and made 14 starts in his sophomore season ... posted a record of 6-4 and an ERA of 5.34 with 69 strikeouts and 37 walks in 84.1 innings ... ranked fourth in the Sunshine State Conference in innings pitched and strikeouts ... picked up a complete game win in the Tars'' 9-2 victory over St. Thomas in Game Two of a doubleheader on 2/9/08, giving up one earned run through seven innings while scattering eight hits ... pitched his second straight complete game while giving up two runs and setting a career high with 10 strikeouts in Rollins'' 8-2 win over Bryant on 2/17/08 ... allowed just one run through eight innings in the championship game of the 60th Annual Rollins College Baseball Week on 3/8/08, helping Rollins to a 2-1 win over Georgetown and earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team ... matched his career high with 10 strikeouts in the Tars'' 13-3 win over Flagler on 4/5/08 ... did not commit an error in the field, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2007 (Freshman): Immediately stepped into a starting role as a freshman, making 15 starts and one relief appearance ... posted a record of 2-6 with an ERA of 6.83 through 80.1 innings ... finished the year with a 2.32 strikeout to walk ratio, striking out 58 batters and walking 25 ... earned his first collegiate win in Rollins’ 9-3 victory over Bryant on 2/19/07, lasting eight innings and allowing just two earned runs ... picked up a complete game win in the Tars’ 4-3 victory over Barry in Game Two of a doubleheader on 3/18/07, allowing three runs while striking out five and walking none ... named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Four-time letterwinner in baseball, where he played first base and pitched ... notched a 5-1 record with a 1.80 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 41 innings in his final year ... first team All-League selection, as well as being named Athlete of the Month in May and MVP ... Honor Roll member for four years.
