Yonge where he helped the Blue Wave to three district championships (2009-11) and reach postseason play those years…named Second Team All-Area as a junior and First Team All-Area as a senior…garnered the Small School Player of the Year award in 2011 and was a Robert C. Byrd Scholarship nominee…as a senior, hit .489 with four home runs and 46 RBI…also pitched senior year – 1.61 ERA with 82 strikeouts in 56.2 innings (6-1 record).
