High School:  Graduated from St. Augustine Prep in Richland, N.J…played outfield, third base and pitcher for the Hermits…advanced to the postseason his sophomore and junior seasons…league champions in 2007…hit a career .435 at the plate, culminated by a .500 batting average his senior year…named first-team all-area and all-region as a sophomore along with being named First-Team All-Cal as an outfielder in 2007…named Newcomer of the Year…was a 2009 NE Top Prospect Perfect Game member…suffered an injury that sidelined him for part of his senior season…team captain junior and senior seasons…played one season of football.
