Yount is entering his seventh season as a member of the Rollins coaching staff. In addition to his duties with the varsity ballclub, Yount is also the head coach of the Rollins JV team. His direction and leadership is vital in the development of student-athletes, and his work with the JV team helps to build the future of the Rollins baseball program.

Prior to his time as a coach, Yount spent four years as a player for Rollins between 2007-2010. He finished his career 123-397 at the plate, good for a .309 batting average. He also led the Tars in stolen bases in both 2009 and 2010.
