2012 (Graduate): After a one-year hiatus, Blanton returned to the Tars pitching staff making 12 appearances for the Blue and Gold...the southpaw tossed 8.2 innings, recording five strikeouts...finished the season with an 8.31 ERA...named to the 2012 Spring Commissioner''s Honor Roll.

2010 (Junior):  Ended first year at Rollins with a 6.61 ERA and a 4-4 record…was primarily a weekend starter, but missed the final month due to an injury…made nine starts and logged 47.2 innings…made first start in game two of the three-game series against West Florida (2/7/10) during the opening weekend and earned a quality start despite the loss…captured first victory versus Bentley (2/15/10) in a seven inning effort when he surrendered six hits and six runs…also garnered wins over St. Thomas (2/20/10), Saint Leo (2/28/10) and Penn (3/14/10)…combined for a shutout over St. Thomas after seven plus innings and allowed just two hits one walk and a career-best four strikeouts.

Prior to Rollins:
2009 (Vanderbilt):  Part of the team, but did not see action.

2008 (Vanderbilt):  Redshirted his true freshman campaign…went 4-0 with a 2.33 ERA in 27 innings for the Fauquier Gators in the Valley League over the summer...only pitcher on the team to toss a complete-game shutout. 

High School: Tabbed the 31st best prospect out of Georgia by Baseball America entering the June 2007 draft ... helped lead Chattahoochee High to a state championship in 2005…team finished No. 23 in the national rankings by B.A... set the school’s single-season record in ERA (0.58) and saves (4)…six career saves, also a record...2007 Atlanta Journal Constitution All-Northside First Team...four-year letterman...also earned team''s Outstanding Player Award in 2007...member of the National Honor Society (2005-07) and the Spanish National Honor Society (2005-07)…graduated Magna Cum Laude and also served as the sports editor of the school newspaper.
