Tars Run Win Streak to Seven

Rollins defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 5-2 on Tuesday

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 14, 2026) - Baseball picked up their seventh straight victory with a 5-2 triumph over Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday night. The Tars now stand at 27-9 on the year with a 17-4 SSC record. TheĀ Sailfish fall to 8-26, 2-16 SSC.Ā 

The home team threatened in the first inning with runners on second and third and two out, but Tyler Toro struck out Carter Parent to end the inning. Toro then picked up two more strikeouts in the second to wrap up his short start, posting four Ks in two innings.Ā 

Rollins got the scoreboard working in the third. Mauri Bejarano led off with a single, and was brought home on a double from Owen Rardin. Next up was leadoff man Joey Rubin, who launched a double off the wall in center to plate Rardin.Ā 

The Sailfish got one back on reliever Mark Loubier in the third when he allowedĀ a bloop single to left that scored Aidan Pierre.Ā 

The Tars used three walks in the fifth to load the bases with one out. Rardin scored on a wild pitch, followed by Rubin and Collin Hughes both scoring on a sac fly and a throwing error to make it a 5-1 game.Ā 

Palm Beach Atlantic scored once more in the ninth on a double, but Robert Ogg was able to close out the game and preserve the 5-2 win.Ā 

Mason Elrod and Bejarano each had two hits, while Rardin scored twice. Toro took the win with his two innings of work. The Tars threw a total of six arms in the game, with four of them firing scoreless frames.Ā 

Next up for the Tars is a monster series with the #5Ā ranked Tampa Spartans. The first game of the series begins on Friday, April 17 at 3pm from Alfond Stadium.Ā
