COLUMBUS, Ohio (September 13, 2025) - Women's soccer continued their winning ways to begin the season, notching their fourth win with a 3-0 triumph over Ohio Dominican on Saturday. The Tars now stand at 4-0-0 while the Panthers fall to 0-3-1.
Rollins did everything in their power to go up early in the first half, firing ten total shots, with six counting as on goal. Unfortunately, every one of them was saved by Maggie Krosky. On the other end,
Lauren Mehos stopped both shots aimed at her, leading to a scoreless tie at the half.Â
The first 25 minutes of the second half played to the same tune, but the Tars were able to break through with twenty minutes to play. Playing off a corner from
Gabby Boyd,
Alice Tesser scored the first goal of the game to put Rollins on top.Â
A few minutes later, Rollins found themselves wit the ball in Ohio Dominican territory again. After a shot from
Gianna Babusci was saved,
Allie Adams ended up with the ball and was able to send it home to make it 2-0.Â
To wrap things up,
Lexie Cooper was able to break away from the defense and took a pass from
Jada Clarke, finishing strong to make the 3-0 final.Â
Rollins outshot Ohio Dominican 20-9, including a 12-3 advantage in shots on target. This is also the first time since 2016 that the Tars have started 4-0-0 with multiple goals scored in each game.Â
The Tars will be back in action on Wednesday, September 17 when the travel to USC Beafort for a 3:00 pm kickoff.Â
