WINTER PARK Fla. (April 15, 2025) – The Rollins men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day on Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over St. Thomas. The Tars improved to 12-8 with the win, while the Bobcats dropped to 3-15.

Jay Friedman said. "Really happy to honor these guys today. Phil played well today and certainly made us proud stepping into the ball. Luke left a clean slate in doubles leading his partner to a 6-0 set at number 1. From here everything will be about preparing for our first round SSC matchup next week. The new season begins now!"
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
Singles
- Anterist made quick work of his opponent at No. 4 singles, winning 6-1, 6-2 to give Rollins a 2-0 lead.
- After St. Thomas got a point with a win on court five, de Giacomo made it 3-1 Tars with a 6-0, 6-0 win on court one.
- Stoiberer clinched the match for the Blue and Gold with a 6-2, 6-3 win on court three, and McMurray extended the lead to 5-1 with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph on court six.
- Gusic capped the afternoon with a 7-6 (0), 6-0 win on court two to give the Tars a 6-1 win.

The Tars will have 10 days to prepare for the Sunshine State Conference Championship, which is set to begin on Friday, April 25th in West Palm Beach.
