With the game tied at one each through two innings, Rollins started inflating their lead in the third inning thanks to Grace Germer. She drove in Avery Dunn  with a triple, and then scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-1.

Claire Long then provided the offense with a home run in the fourth, and a sac fly in the sixth that brought in Brianna Perantoni. Emma Gipple also recorded an RBI in the sixth, ripping a single through the left side to plate Marisa Edevane

Rollins put a bow on the game with a power display in the seventh. Jaden Walker drove in three with her moonshot to left, while Edevane launched a solo shot, the first of her career, to make the final of 10-1.

In the circle, Grace Hautzinger fired the first complete game of her career. In seven innings of work, she scattered five hits and allowed one run. She walked four and struck out five.

Rollins got a pair of runs back in the third when Brooke Theisen singled up the middle to score Germer and Kaeli Zahradnik. A third run came across for Rollins when GErmer and Zahradnik executed a double steal, moving the score to 8-3.

The scoring wrapped up in the fifth inning with a Claire Long RBI single, and an Edevane single that brought home Long.
