VALDOSTA, Ga. (April 28, 2023) - Rollins saw their 2023 campaign come to an end on Friday, falling to #6 West Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 4-0. The Tars end their year 17-7, their most wins in a season since 2019.
The featured matchup in doubles saw #4 Tomas Descarrega/Facundo Bermejo take down #3

Luke Quaynor, 6-1. The Argos then clinched the point by winning on court three as well, 6-1.
In singles play, Descarrga and Comu matched up once more on court one. Again, it was West Florida collecting the win in 6-1, 6-2 fashion. The third point of the day came off court five where Mateo Martinez defeated
Moritz Stenzer 6-4, 6-1. The match was clinched on court two in a Top 50 matchup between #49 Quaynor and #21 Bermejo. It was a good fight, but Bermejo took it home with a 6-4, 6-4 win.
The remaining three singles matches went unfinished.
Though the season did not end with a championship, the team made tremendous strides for the future. Comu and Quaynor were each named first team All-SSC in both singles and doubles play.
