BRADENTON, Fla. (April 22, 2022) – The sixth-seeded Tars fell out of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament in the Quarterfinals, dropping their match to third-seeded Saint Leo, 5-0. Rollins, who are ranked No. 25 in the nation, drop to 10-10 overall, while No. 3 Saint Leo improves to 19-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
- The Lions won the point by capturing the first two decisions, on the second and third courts.
- The ninth ranked duo of Alexandra Borg and Georgina Groth led their first court match 4-3 when play was called.
Singles
- The Lions' No. 16 Nina Furmaniak took the second court match over Kaitlynn Groves 6-0, 6-0 to give Saint Leo a 2-0 lead.
- Natalia Collado Cordon fell 6-1, 6-1 to No. 48 Kamilya Shailina to push the Lions to the brink of victory.
- The matches on court one and court four finished simultaneously, both in favor of Saint Leo, to advance the Lions to the SSC Championship Semifinals with the 5-0 win.
