ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (April 10, 2022) – The 18th-ranked Rollins men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat at No. 10 Flagler on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Tars now stand at 7-7 on the year, while the Saints move to 11-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
- Flagler claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and two, with the third match left unfinished once the doubles point was decided.
Singles
- The Saints got straight-sets victories on courts six, four, and three to clinch the match.
- The final two matches were close battles, both requiring a 10-point third set tiebreak.
- Efe Comu came up just short on court two, falling to 41st-ranked Nikita Tatyanin, 6-7 (4), 6-2, 10-8.
- Sixth-ranked Denis Golubev grabbed Rollins' lone point, bouncing back from a 6-2 loss in the first set to down Oscar Del Granado on court one, 2-6, 7-6 (4), 10-5.

The Tars will return home for their final regular season match on Thursday, April 14 at 3 p.m. against No. 7 Hawaii Pacific.
