Hutton Yenor was named the top Defensive Player in the conference for games played November 7-13. This is the first player of the week award for the Timber Creek High graduate.

Yenor, known for his offense, stepped up on the defensive end for the Tars last weekend in the first two games of the year. On Friday against Auburn Montgomery, he recorded three steals and grabbed four rebounds while only committing one foul in the Tars win. On Saturday, he stole the ball five times, added a block, and pulled down eight rebounds against Benedict.
In addition to his defensive prowess, Yenor also led the Tars in scoring both games, with 20 and 19, respectively.
