BOCA RATON, Fla. (September 25, 2021) – The Tars fell behind early, but came storming back to take a 4-1 victory on the road, at Lynn. The Tars improve to 3-4-0 overall, and pick up a win in their first Sunshine State Conference match, to sit at 1-0-0 in SSC play. Lynn drops to 2-3-1 overall, and 1-2-0 in conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half
- One of the country's top goal scorers, Anniina Sankoh tallied an assist to get Lynn on the board first. Sankoh slid a pass to Savannah Jackson, who fired a low shot beyond Noel Miller to put Rollins in an early hole.
- The Tars equalized near the end of the half. Kayla Park saw the Lynn keeper charging at her on the wing, and coolly slid a pass into the feet of Briyah Drayton, who tapped the ball into the empty net for her third goal of her freshman campaign.
- Noel Miller kept Rollins in the game throughout the half, tallying four saves in the first 45 minutes.
Second Half
- Lightning caused a lengthy delay after just two minutes of play in the second half. When the two teams returned to the field Rollins began to exert their will on the match.
- The Tars scored just minutes after resuming play. This time it was Drayton pouncing on a Lynn mistake and passing the ball across net. Talya Duffy got on the end of the cross and put it in the net to give Rollins the lead.
- Meghan Mosely added Rollins third in the 79th minute. A blocked shot fell kindly to the senior's feet. With the defense out of position Mosley had time to gather herself and place her shot out of the reach of the Lynn keeper, making the score 3-1.
- Freshman Ryland McGratty sealed the game away with her first tally in Blue and Gold. The Winter Park native fought off a pair of Lynn Defenders before sending the ball over the keeper and into the net.
