SAINT LEO, Fla. (March 28, 2020) – The Tars picked up a pair of spring wins, facing off against the Saint Leo Lions and the Florida Southern Mocs on the Saint Leo Soccer Fields. Rollins came back to defeat the Lions, 3-2, to open the action. Rollins then shut out Florida Southern, and held on for a 1-0 win. Rollins spring record sits at 3-1-1 after the two victories.

Game 1: Rollins 3, Saint Leo 2
The Lions got on the board first, beating the Rollins defense in the sixth minute. Rollins would equalize before the half time whistle.Â
Nazar Tsaruk continued to impress this spring, tallying his third score, to get the Tars on the board.

Rollins would outscore the Lions 2-1 in the second 45 minutes to lock up the victory.Â
Tyler Nagy found the back out the net for Rollins second goal.Â
Mason Lamb would net the winner, his first goal in the Blue and Gold.

Game 2: Rollins 1, Florida Southern 0
Rollins tallied the only goal of the match and held their first clean sheet of the spring, to take down the Mocs.Â
Georgios Koliniatis, the Tars leading scorer in 2019, found the back of the net for the first time this spring, putting the game winning goal beyond the reach of the Florida Southern keeper.
