SET UP:
After dropping the spring opener at Palm Beach Atlantic, Rollins will return to the turf of Cahall-Sandspur Field for their first home contests. Highly touted Florida Tech will make the trip from Melbourne on Friday, followed by the Bucs of Barry University on Sunday.
Rollins (0-1-0):
Nazar Tsaruk registered the lone highlight for the Tars in the contest against the Sailfish, opening the scoring with a shot from distance. Â
Michael Landau will look to find the form he played with against Florida Tech last season. The midfielder tallied a goal and the game winning assist as the Tars upset the then No. 6 Panthers. The efforts earned Landau SSC Player of the Week honors.
Â
No. 6 Florida Tech (1-0-1):
The Panthers started their spring with an upset of Palm Beach Atlantic. The win catapulted Florida Tech up the rankings to No. 6. Guillermo Segovia tallied twice against the Sailfish. The Panthers could only manage a draw in their last game, a visit from Florida Southern.
Â
Barry (0-0-0):
The Bucs are coming off a 6-11 season, but are only two seasons removed from the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship. Barry upended Rollins 1-0 in overtime last season, in Miami Shores.Â
Maximillian Obermeier registered eight saves in the matchup, but was beaten in the extra time by Andreas Volk.
