WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 17, 2021) – Rollins picked up their first win of the season, dominating the Embry-Riddle Eagles in route to a 6-1 victory. With the win the Tars improve to 1-2 overall, and 1-2 in Sunshine State Conference action. The Eagles fall to 2-2 on the season.

Rollins won the doubles point comfortably. Katie Groves and
Maria McKay tallied the first result with a 6-1 win in the second position.Â
Alexandra Borg and
Georgina Groth stayed perfect in doubles play, clinching the point with a victory 6-3 on the first court.Â
Polina Vlasova and
Eve Wasil completed the sweep with a 6-4 third court win.

Vlasova shutout the Eagle's Marshall on the fourth court, 6-0, 6-0, to clinch the Tars' second point. Borg dropped her match on the first court, 3-6, 2-6, as the Eagles earned their only point of the match, making the score 2-1. The Tars would sweep the final four matches, all in straight sets. Groves sailed to a 6-2, 6-1 victory, Groth earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory, Wasil controlled her match 6-3, 6-4, and McKay dispatched her opponent 6-4, 6-2.
